Why Our ER

Hospital-level care, without the hospital wait.

A freestanding ER means real emergency medicine — board-certified physicians, full imaging suite, complete lab — but with the speed and calm of a small clinic.

Average wait under 10 minutes

Hospital ERs average 90+ minutes from arrival to physician. Our patients see a board-certified ER doctor in under ten minutes, on average.

Board-certified ER physicians

Every shift is staffed by an Emergency Medicine specialist — not a PA, not an NP alone. The doctor who sees you trained specifically for emergencies.

Full imaging & lab on-site

CT scanner, ultrasound (including 3D and Doppler), X-ray, and complete laboratory — all in one building. Same-visit diagnosis, no transfers.

All major insurance accepted

BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Medicare, Tricare. Transparent self-pay options. See full list →

Services FAQ

Common questions about our care.

What can you treat at ER Of Fort Worth?

We treat the full range of medical emergencies — chest pain, strokes, severe infections, pediatric emergencies, fractures, allergic reactions, abdominal pain, headaches, and more. Anything a hospital ER handles, we handle. Browse the full service list above.

Do you handle pediatric emergencies?

Yes. Our physicians are trained in pediatric emergency medicine. We have child-friendly treatment rooms, gentler imaging protocols, and equipment sized for infants through teens. See our Pediatric ER page for details.

Do you have imaging and lab on-site?

Yes. CT scanner, X-ray, ultrasound (including 3D and Doppler), and a complete on-site laboratory. Most diagnoses happen in the same visit — no transfers, no waiting weeks for results, no driving to a separate imaging center.

When should I come to the ER vs urgent care?

Come to the ER for anything potentially serious — chest pain, severe abdominal pain, head injuries, high fevers in infants, breathing problems, severe trauma. Urgent care doesn't have CT, ultrasound, or board-certified emergency physicians. Read our full ER vs urgent care guide.

Will I get a surprise bill?

No. The federal No Surprises Act protects you from out-of-network balance billing for emergency care. We accept all major insurance and offer transparent self-pay options. See insurance details →

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk in any time — we're open 24/7, every day of the year. You can also use Online Check-In to reserve your spot and submit paperwork ahead of arrival.
