Frequently asked questions.
Will I get an X-ray during my ER visit?
Yes. We have on-site digital X-ray with immediate radiologist review — usually within 15-30 minutes of imaging.
Can you put my shoulder back in place?
Yes. We perform joint reductions (shoulder, elbow, finger, hip) with appropriate sedation and pain control — most patients leave the same visit.
Will I need surgery?
Many fractures heal in a cast or splint with no surgery needed. Fractures requiring surgical fixation get direct orthopedic referral — usually seen within days.
How long until I see an orthopedist?
Most patients are seen by an orthopedic specialist within 1-7 days, depending on the injury severity. We coordinate the referral before you leave.
Can you treat sports injuries?
Yes — sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations and concussions are all routinely treated. We see athletes from high school through adult recreational players.
